NOTIFICATION In pursuance of powers conferred Under Section 87 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 the Commission hereby constitutes the State Advisory Committee (SAC) comprising of the following Members in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 which will come into force on the date of its notification in the official gazette. 1. Chairman, Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairperson (Ex-officio)
2. Member (Finance), Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission Member (Ex-officio)
3. Member (Technical), Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission Member (Ex-officio)

5. Secretary, Food & Consumer Protection Department, Govt. of Bihar Member (Ex-officio)

The objects of the SAC shall be as per provisions of Section 88 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003.
The Committee Members, except Ex-officio Members, shall be entitled for a Fee of Rs. 500/- per meeting.
Other terms and conditions of the Members of the SAC shall be governed by the provisions of the BERC State Advisory Committee Regulations, 2005. By order of the Commission
